My take: a few sprays of Blaster silicone lubricant took my office chair from creaking every time I leaned back to quiet.
My chair creaked loudly every time I leaned back. It was ridiculous.
What I did
- Shake the can.
- Spray the joints that squeak or stick.
- Lean back and test. If there’s still noise, spray again.
The result
The lean-back creak was gone. There was still a little squeak when I shifted around, so I got under the chair, sprayed more, and that took care of it. It doesn’t smell bad either.
